Thank you!

I thought readers might like to see who the top ten commentators on the site are. The calculations only go back as far as the blog’s life on its own domain—January 2006–and can’t, unfortunately, include any comments made from August 2004 to December 2005, when the site was hosted on Blogger.

1. Nicola (283)
2. Howard (248)
3. Sue (217)
4. Willow (161)
5. Joanne (96)
6. The Hermit (87)
7. ruby (79)
8. Khlari (79)
9. Beautifu1 (75)
10. Jami (73)

It should be noted that Willow and Beautifu1 are one and the same, while Joanne is also Amethyst Dragon, and with that nickname comes in at number 11. So both Willow/Beautifu1 and Joanne/Amethyst Dragon, if their two online identities were merged, would be a lot higher in this chart.

But thanks to everyone who ever comments on the site, irrespective of how many times you’ve done so. Your input and opinions are always appreciated! And if you’re a reader who doesn’t comment, you are equally thanked for visiting and adding to the over 53,000 unique visitors to date.

You might be surprised to also find out that the most visitors online at the same time was 67 at 11.27am on November 4 2006. Quite a crowd!

There have been well in excess of 1,000 posts to date—I can’t give a precise figure, as some entries have been removed over time—and there are currently 3,661 comments in the database. 194 different nicknames are represented in the comments and there are over 97 uniquely different links to other sites (meaning duplications are not counted).

It’s very early days for the forum—getting people registered and using them is the priority, and will be for some time—but membership numbers are increasing every day. Many blogs are reporting dips in their traffic in recent months, leading to speculation in the forums that the blog bubble may have burst.

Again, thank you everyone. I am very grateful for your time, and energies. Blessed be.
